Writers Group Enters Deal with Altive Media for U.K. Theatrical Distribution

LOS ANGELES-- Writers Group Film Corp. (OTCQB:WRIT) and its wholly-owned subsidiary Front Row Networks, Inc., a Los Angeles-based concert production and distribution company, has entered into an agreement with Altive Media, a British marketing and distribution company to theatrically distribute Front Row Networks 3D concert projects. Front Row Networks will finance all production costs of its 3D concert content, while Altive Media will market and distribute Front Row’s product throughout cinemas in the U.K and Ireland.
Altive Media is a London based alternative content distribution company, which acquires and distributes live and pre-recorded events in 2D and 3D into cinemas. The founders have a combined 30 years of experience in the UK and International Film and Cinema Industry. “Alternative Content” is a growing business within the cinema world, which was brought about by the move from film to digital technologies. By showing alternative content in cinemas, content owners and performing artists have the ability to widen their audience further than traditional methods, while giving customers more choice and more opportunities to view and experience an event. For many customers a cinema seat could be the ‘best seat in the house’.

(OTC: WRIT), announced today that it has entered into a first-look production agreement with Peter Martin, the Los Angeles based writer and 3D producer.
Peter began as a journalist specializing in music and film in the 1980’s. In the '90's, Peter worked in TV in both London and Los Angeles, developing and producing groundbreaking entertainment formats such as 'Wired' and 'Passengers', the global youth culture show which was one of the first brand funded shows - sponsored by Pepsi - shown in over 23 countries.
Peter had the opportunity to work within the film division of Done & Dusted, headed by Hamish Hamilton (Director of the 2011 Oscars and Superbowl Half-Time Show) where Peter produced the ‘Victoria’s Secret Fashion’ show for CBS. Throughout the last decade, Peter has had success producing shows with a worldwide audience appeal. Most notably, in 2010 Peter created and produced 'Waste Land', the feature length documentary directed by Lucy Walker, which has won over 35 Festival awards and was nominated for Best Documentary at the 2011 Academy Awards.
In 2011, Peter moved to Los Angeles and set up VALIS Entertainment with his partner Nicole Ehrlich, who is the VP at Universal Music Group/Interscope/Geffen/A&M and Producer of all Lady Gaga visual projects, notably the Emmy Award winning Monster’s Ball concert film for HBO.
